Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Anyone is welcome to attend our lunch session from 1pm til 5pm.
Our evening session from 6pm to 11pm is only for people aged 18 and over. Please make sure to bring your ID if you look under 25, as we will be operating a Challenge 25 policy.
What age range is the kids cooking club for?
The first two sessions are for children ages 8 and above. The third session is specifically aimed at older kids aged 12-16.
What are the times and durations of the kids’ cooking club sessions?
There will be three sessions, each lasting 45 minutes. The sessions will run at 2:00pm, 3:00pm, and 4:00pm.
Are dogs allowed at the Sussex Food Festival?
Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, we cannot allow any animals. Exceptions will be made for guide dogs, hearing dogs, and other support animals.
Do I have to print my ticket?
Tickets will be scanned at the gates when you arrive at the event. You can use e-tickets or a printed copy.
Can I bring alcohol?
Please don't bring any alcohol. Please keep your drinks safe at home, away from our amnesty bin.
Can I bring food?
We have a wide range of artisan independent food vendors - all tastes are covered! External food will have to keep external alcohol company in the amnesty bin.
Is this event wheelchair accessible?
Yes, please ask for assistance upon arrival.
What types of payment do you accept?
You can pay card only, we do not take cash.
Are there toilets?
We have plenty of toilets located at the Hilton.
Do you have security at this event?
For your safety and security we employ professional security personnel during the event and they will be carrying out bag searches on entry.
